People 1st has recently received funding from the UK Government to run MAP in the Newry, Mourne and Down Area.
Migrant Access Programme is aimed at legally resident migrant and ethnic minority participants who are experiencing barriers to participation and employment because of language difficulties, lack of training or social exclusion. The project proposes to increase the levels of employability of the beneficiaries and support those with permission to enter employment in Northern Ireland.
