Newry Water Festival 2026, taking place on Monday 31 August, from 12.00pm to 4.00pm at Albert Basin, Newry.
The festival will offer a wide range of free land and water-based activities for all ages.
A photocall will take place at 12.30pm on the day of the festival. I will be around the event site, so please check in with me when you arrive, and I will coordinate the arrangements for the photograph.
The Confederation of Community Groups was established in 1973 by a group of community activists in the Newry area and opened a Community resource Centre in Bank Parade in June 1977. In 1979, the Confederation moved to larger premises at 2 Bridge Street and relocated from there in 1997 to Ballybot House at Cornmarket from where it currently operates.
