Our next workshop is on Wednesday 24 January 2024 | <\/strong>12-2pm | <\/strong>NEWRY <\/strong>(Ballybot House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n These short, facilitated workshops are fun & interactive – they are part networking, part team building, and part learning. They have been planned to bring volunteers & volunteer managers from different groups together so that we can all meet & learn from each other at a local level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Using the \u20185 Ways to Wellbeing\u2019 model as our guide we will explore how volunteering can support a person\u2019s overall wellbeing, how good recruitment planning and\/or selecting the right role is a key to success with this, why fostering inclusivity & diversity matters to volunteer wellbeing, and how to handle challenges or difficulties that may arise in volunteering organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We aim to run sessions over lunchtime (to make them as accessible to as many people as possible) with food & drink being provided for all attendees.
