Anam Cara Community Counselling C.I.C. Is a not for profit social enterprise providing low cost counselling to the community. Counselling is delivered from Rostrevor, Newry & by phone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We provide evidence based counselling interventions to Adults with an emphasis on helping Young Adults & Men through our services Transitions Counselling Service for 18-25 Year Olds & Men\u2019s Space Counselling Service.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anam Cara Community Counselling C.I.C. was established in 2019 as a social enterprise. The organisation developed from Anam Cara Therapeutic Services which provided counselling and psychotherapy services for over 25 years to individuals and organisation’s from across Northern Ireland and the border regions of the Republic of Ireland.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We aim to make counselling more accessible to the community through the provision of low cost counselling services.  Counselling is available from Rostrevor, Co Down and Newry City Centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have the following specific counselling services:  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) Counselling for Adults <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) Men\u2019s Space Counselling Service <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(3) Transitions Counselling Service for 16-25 year olds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Counselling sessions are provided to adult women, men and young people aged sixteen on a one to one basis, the service is private and confidential, with each session lasting the minimum 50 minute therapeutic hour. We offer short term contracts (up to a fixed number of sessions), long term and on going counselling contracts.  There is availability for weekday, evenings and some weekend appointments. Immediate appointments are available for initial assessments. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The therapists are accredited and registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and work within its ethical framework.  <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
