What is TAG?
TAG is a Social Group for young adults who have Mild / Moderate Learning Disability and who live in the Newry and Mourne area.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life of young adults with Mild / Moderate Learning Disability by providing them with opportunities to develop to their full potential and to help make their future as bright and independent as possible.
People with Learning Disability, like everyone else, face many challenges in life. We endeavour in TAG to develop independence and self-confidence through engagement in challenging activities in an enjoyable social grouping.
TAG (The Active Group) was founded by a group of parents in 2002 to meet the social and personal development needs of young adults with Mild / Moderate Learning Disability in the Newry and Mourne Area.
TAG is a recognised charity.
