Slieve Gullion DEA Forum is organising a Good Relations Funding Fair, in celebration of Good Relations Week 2023.
The Fair will take place in Lislea Community Centre, 14 Mountain Rd, Newry BT35 9UG, on Wednesday 20th September 2023 from 3.00pm – 7.00pm. The format is a number of ‘stands’ will be set up in the large hall to provide information to the public. Organisations holding the stands may be funding organisations (who provide funding to community based organisations), or organisations who can provide help and advice to the community on how to seek funding/complete funding applications etc. There will also be a number of organisations who will make presentations to the public in a separate hall – these will be good relations focused and include the Executive Office and Community Relations Council. The Department of Foreign Affairs Ireland (Shared Island and Reconciliation Fund). Peace Plus Regional Programme (SEUPB) are also invited to present, confirmation of their attendance to be confirmed. Please note: your organisation does not need to have a call for funding currently open, we welcome organisations who expect to have funding available within the 2024/25 financial year. The focus of this fair is to help the community identify future sources of funding so they can begin to prepare potential projects. We would like to invite you along to the funding fair to hold a stand – I would appreciate if you could confirm your organisations attendance by 31st August 2023, also please confirm the number of staff you will have present.
