On 9th April Diabetes UK launched their Newry ‘Live Well Hub’ at Altnaveigh House in Newry.
This Live Well Hub is a one-stop-shop providing information, support, and advice to improve the health and wellbeing of those living with or at risk of diabetes. The live well hub runs on a monthly basis, meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. A different topic will be covered each session and those attending will hear from a diabetes specialist nurse, a podiatrist, a local community pharmacist, a dietitian, retinopathy and local community groups.
