The Dementia UK / Nationwide Building Society Admiral Nurse clinics will be returning to Newry on the 11th December. The clinic will be based in the Newry Nationwide Branch, Marcus Square BT34 1JB.

This venture is a partnership between Nationwide building society and Dementia UK, offering 45-minute, free appointments with a dementia specialist nurse in their branches. The dementia specialist nurses cover a wide range of topics in appointments, from people concerned about their memory (pre diagnosis), family carers who require information/advice/support on dementia symptom management, discussing social care support / legal issues / finances right to end of life symptoms and grief. People also come along just for a chance to offload and talk about whatever is happening for them at that time, whether that is a person living with a dementia diagnosis or a carer who is caring for someone living with dementia.
