Community Journalism Workshops, launching Wednesday 14 January.
Delivered over six interactive weeks by SlackPress Studios, this programme is designed to help participants build real, practical journalism and digital storytelling skills. The workshops will support people to share stories that matter highlighting local people, places, issues, and positive change within their communities.
The programme is open to everyone with an interest in producing digital content for their organisation or community. No prior experience is required; curiosity is enough.
Participants will:
- Build confidence
- Learn digital storytelling and journalism skills
- Connect with others across the community
- Create content with real impact
- Shine a light on issues and stories close to their heart
